Advanced Planning Solutions (APS) began focusing on long term care planning in 1996. The founder's
prior experience in both the long term care industry and the financial planning community enabled APS to quickly become known for its expertise in this
field. Retaining our focus on planning for senior health/care issues and interacting with other specialized experts around the country has enabled
us to become a premier resource for the financial planning industry as well as the public.
In response to the daunting lack of public awareness about health, care, and planning needs APS opened a resource/education center in 2007. This "Center for Lifelong
Planning" comprises 1800 square ft and includes a large seminar room for public seminars and to provide continuing education for professionals.
APS is recognized for its expertise in helping top financial planning firms to adapt their practices to the changing needs of our aging society.
These firms have expanded the range of their services to incorporate Long Term Care planning/insurance as well Medicare health products
into their existing practices. We are proud that many of these professionals value our approach and expertise and we take seriously
the trust that is required for them to refer their clients to us.
These planning firms also recognize the need to serve not just their clients but also the aging family members (parents) of their clients. APS has teamed with
several of the region's top elder law and care management firms to increase the range of services and education for planners and for the public. The name "Center for Lifelong
Planning" was chosen because, from a single source, either the public or planners can obtain a wide range of excellent services. We want those who we team with to meet
two requirements. We want them to share our values in keeping the clients interest first and, secondly, we want them to be among the best in the state in their particular specialty.

Tom is honored to have recently been asked to serve as the 2008 President-Elect of the Georgia chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
OUR APPROACH Our goal is to serve the best interests of each client. We are differentiated significantly
from others in the insurance industry because we specialize and we are experienced in this niche. LTC insurance and Medicare health products are complicated and require
constant interaction with various carriers and experts in the industry to stay on top of this business. Unfortunately, industry surveys show that 80% of LTC insurance is sold by
agents who sell fewer than 5 policies per year. We strongly believe that an agent must sell at least 30 policies/year from multiple companies to know this business well enough to
do their clients justice.
We have an educational and consultative approach to providing services to clients.
Clients realize this product is complex. Also, those who research this area will find that there is much conflicting information on the internet and in the media. Our approach
enables clients to be comfortable that the decisions they make will be sound and based on valid information. If you are not secure with the purchase of an insurance product, it
does not serve its purpose. The fact that professionals in the financial planning industry increasingly choose APS to serve their most important clients assures us that the value

Working on boards and committees of various government and nonprofit entities provides
contacts with other top specialists in various areas related to aging. We strive to foster these relationships to build an unparalleled team of aging experts to serve the financial
